Walnut Street to Close between College and Orr Street on Monday, October 15

COLUMBIA, MO (October 12, 2012) - On Monday, October 15 at 8:00 am, Walnut between College Avenue and Orr Street will be closed to all traffic. The closure is expected to last three days, ending by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 17. The closure is necessary to complete storm water utility work associated with the Short Street parking garage. 
The closure will also require a detour for the 107 FastCAT bus route. Details of that detour will be available soon. 
Motorist, cyclist and pedestrians should find alternate routes and use caution in the work zone areas. Starting and completion dates are weather dependent and could change.
