Neighborhood Congress to be Held October 23
COLUMBIA, MO (October 16, 2012) - The City of Columbia's Community Development Department and University Extension are sponsoring a Neighborhood Congress on Tuesday, October 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Activities and Recreation Center, 1701 W. Ash Street. The schedule of the event is as follows:
*4:30 to 6 p.m. - Information Fair featuring programs and services from several City departments and City Council Office Hours. The following Council members will be available:
*Michael Trapp, Ward 2
*Gary Kespohl, Ward 3
*Daryl Dudley, Ward 4
*Barbara Hoppe, Ward 6
*Mayor Bob McDavid will be available from 5 to 6 p.m.
*6 to 8 p.m. - Neighborhood Congress focused on a discussion of affordable housing issues including non-traditional development models and down payment and home maintenance assistance for low income individuals.
