Truck Hauling Brick Rolls Over Injuring Driver

COLUMBIA, MO (October 22, 2012) - For Immediate Release:

Truck Hauling Brick Rolls Over Injuring Driver

 

On 10/22/2012, members of the Columbia Fire Department were dispatched, at 1:01 pm, to a roll-over accident at East Stadium and East Pointe Dr. 

 

Upon their arrival at 1:05 crews ten wheeled truck with a crane lying on the driver's side with the driver trapped inside. Crews reported that the driver was alert and responsive as they began the extrication. Crews work for 20 minutes to complete the extrication.

 

The driver of the truck was transported to the University Hospital as a Trauma Alert (patient with life threatening injuries).
