Work schedueled to begin on Grindstone Pedway Project

COLUMBIA, MO (April 3, 2013) - Columbia Public Works announces that beginning Monday, April 8, J.C. Industries, Inc will begin work on the Grindstone Pedway Project on Old Highway 63 between East Broadway and Grindstone Creek.

The work will result in occasional temporary lane restrictions on Old Highway 63. The project is scheduled to be completed by fall 2013, weather permitting.

Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the area or use alternate routes when possible.

This project is being built with funds from GetAbout Columbia.

Attached is a council memo concerning the project as well as a schematic depicting the areas where work will occur.
