Two Arrests Made In Daniels Homicide

COLUMBIA, MO (April 14, 2013) - TWO ARRESTS MADE IN DANIELS HOMICIDE

 

On 04-13-13, at approximately 4:50 P.M., officers arrested James Robert Thompson, 23 years of age, in reference to the homicide of Brian Daniels.  Thompson was arrested after a traffic stop at Grindstone Parkway and Churchill Drive. Thompson was arrested for First Degree Murder.  The bond amount is $2,000,000.00 cash only.

 

On 04-13-13, at approximately 5:00 P.M., officers detained Christopher James Hurt, 24 years of age, at 250 Apple Tree Ct, Apartment #1, while they were serving a search warrant at his residence in reference to the homicide investigation.  Hurt was arrested for Felony Possession of Controlled Substances (Cocaine) and later Felony Hindering Prosecution. Hurt’s total bond amount is $9,000.00 for the two charges.

 

The case is still being actively investigated by detectives.
