Water main tap on Stewart Rd may result in lane restriction on Thursday, August 15

COLUMBIA, MO (August 12, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Thursday, August 15, at 7:00 a.m.  City of Columbia Water & Light Department crews will perform a water main tap at 13 E. Stewart Rd. This work will result in a lane restriction on E. Stewart Road at 13 E. Stewart Rd (between Providence Rd. and Garth Ave.).  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Friday, August 16, by 7:00 p.m. 

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
