South Eighth Street Sidewalk Closure and Driving Lane Restrictions

COLUMBIA, MO (August 12, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, August 19, at 7:00 a.m. Columbia Hotel Investments will begin work on a streetscape project at 23 S. Eighth
Street.  This work will result in a temporary lane restriction and sidewalk closures on S. Eighth Street between Eighth Street alley and Cherry St. The work should be completed and the road and sidewalk fully reopened by Tuesday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
