Urgent - UPDATE - Beverly Drive Closure - August 13 through 14

COLUMBIA, MO (August 13, 2013) - UPDATE - Project begin date delayed and extended by one day.

The City of Columbia Public Works Department advises that beginning Wednesday, August 14, at 7:00 a.m. Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., contractor for MoDOT will begin construction on a storm sewer system on Beverly Drive. 

This work will create a road closure on Beverly Drive between I-70 Drive SW and Bernadette Drive.  The work is scheduled to be completed and the road fully reopened by 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, weather permitting.

This closure will also affect Columbia Transit Route 103W as previously described.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area, use an alternate route whenever possible, and expect delays.

Thank you for your patience during this project to improve traffic flow in the Stadium Blvd corridor.
