Bear Creek Trail Boardwalk Reopened

COLUMBIA, MO (August 14, 2013) - Repairs have been completed on the Bear Creek Trail boardwalk, and the trail is now fully open again to pedestrians and bicyclists.   

 

Trail traffic has been detoured for about three weeks as the supports of the boardwalk have been repaired. They were damaged from floodwaters resulting from heavy rains in the spring.

 

Parks and Recreation staff appreciates trail users’ patience and cooperation during the construction process. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460.
