City will host first ‘Ward Check-In’ Aug. 28

COLUMBIA, MO (August 20, 2013) - Want to know more about upcoming projects, developments, safety efforts and issues in your ward? Come listen to and speak with your councilperson, the city manager, city department heads, city staff and fellow ward residents at your Ward Check-In.

The first Ward Check-In will be held for Ward 1 residents from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in rooms 1A/1B of City Hall. The Ward Check-In will be held biannually for each city ward. Check the city’s website at www.GoColumbiaMo.com, the city’s Facebook page at “City of Columbia, Missouri (Gov't. Page)” or the city’s Twitter feed @GoColumbiaMO to see when and where the Ward Check-In meeting will be held in your ward.
