Stewart Road - street and sidewalk closure between 4th and 5th Street

COLUMBIA, MO (December 16, 2013) - Beginning Wednesday, December 18th, at 7:00 a.m. Prost Builders, contractor for the University of Missouri, will begin work hoisting steel beams on top of the MU Power Plant. This work will result in a road and sidewalk closure of E Stewart Rd. between Fourth St and Fifth St.  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Wednesday, December 18th, by 4:00 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
