Lane closure near 801 Charles Street on January 2

COLUMBIA, MO (December 30, 2013) - Beginning Thursday, January 2, at 7:00 a.m.  NW Industries will begin excavation of McAlester Street to remove and replace a sanitary sewer lateral at 801 Charles Street.  This work will result in a lane closure of McAlester Street between Old US Highway 63 and Charles Street.  The work should be completed and the street fully reopened by Thursday, January 2, by 6:00 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
