Columbia power outage update

COLUMBIA, MO (February 26, 2013) - The heavy snow on the trees has brought many power lines down in our area.  Columbia Water and Light has restored power to over 4,000 customers this morning. There are still 150 customers without power across the city as of 10:30 am. Crews are working hard to restore power as quickly as possible. There is still a chance for more problems as the day goes along. The utility would like to thank people for their patience and reminds everyone to stay far away from any downed utility lines. Reports of downed lines or power outages can be made by calling 573-875-2555.
