City bus service to start on limited schedule 

COLUMBIA, MO (February 27, 2013) - Columbia Transit fixed routes will start the day, Wednesday on a limited schedule, this includes 101 N, 101 S, 102 N, 102E, 103NE, 103W, 104W, 104SE, and FastCAT. The 105 Commuter will not run for the start of the day.

Staffing limitations due to road conditions and power outages will force limited service for the start of the day. More service will be added as possible throughout the day. Riders wanting updates can watch social media (Twitter @Columbia_MO_Bus, Facebook.com/ColumbiaTransit) or call 573-874-7282.

Routes will run at an 80 minute headway with starting departure times listed below. FastCAT will run on a 30 minute headway.

Detailed departure times expected for the start of service:

101 N at Oakland Junior High- 7:05am

101 S at Bethel and Diego- 6:25am

102 N at Smiley and Rangeline- 6:25am

102Ea at Indian Hills- 7:00am

103NE at Gerbes Paris Road- 6:25am

103W at Columbia Mall- 7:05am

104W at HyVee on Broadway-7:00am

104SEa at IMB Lemone Ind. Blvd.- 6:25am
