Temporary and periodic lane restrictions on East Walnut between Orr and College

COLUMBIA, MO (July 23, 2013) - Columbia Public Works announces that beginning on Friday, July 26 between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 PM, temporary and periodic lane restrictions will occur on East Walnut between Orr Street and College Ave.

These lane restrictions are needed to complete sidewalk work on the south side of East Walnut. During the times when work requires a lane restriction, flaggers will be present to control traffic. When lane restrictions are not needed, traffic control signs will be moved or covered.

These temporary and periodic lane restrictions will occur through Tuesday, July 30.

Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians should use caution in the construction area and find alternate routes when possible.

We appreciate your patience while this project is completed.
