Milling and overlay street work to continue the week of June 17

COLUMBIA, MO (June 14, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning Monday, June 17 at 7:00 am, APAC of Missouri crews will mill the following streets in preparation for an new asphalt overlay:

*Worley Street from Vieux Carre to Basin

*Valencia & El Cortez intersection

*Park Ave from Rogers to St. James

*10th Street from Park Ave to Rogers

*Broadway and Trimble Road intersection

*Garth Ave from Business Loop 70 to East Forest Ave

This work will result in periodic lane closures and restrictions during the milling process. All work is weather dependent. Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians should use caution in the construction zones and should find alternate routes whenever possible. Please slow down and watch for workers near and in the roadway.
