Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services Hosts Series of Focus Groups
COLUMBIA, MO (June 26, 2013) - There are still seats remaining at a series of focus groups, hosted by the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services, where residents can share opinions about health issues in Boone County. The focus groups are one step in the process the department is going through to update its Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan.
“We believe the best way to identify and improve health issues in our community is with input from community members,” said Public Health and Human Services Director Stephanie Browning. “By attending a focus group, residents have the opportunity to help shape what a healthy Boone County looks like.”
