South 8th Street closure between Broadway and Cherry on Monday, July 1

COLUMBIA, MO (June 27, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, July 1, 2013, at 7:00 a.m. Hospitality Contracting LLC will begin repair work on the Tiger Hotel sign  at 23 S. Eighth Street.  This work will result in a street closure on S. Eighth Street between Broadway and Cherry Street.  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Monday, July 1, 2013, by 7:00 p.m., weather pending.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
