Head-On Collision Results in Extrication Accident on Forum Boulevard

COLUMBIA, MO (March 7, 2013) - For Immediate Release:

Head-On Collision Results in Extrication Accident on Forum Boulevard 

 

On 03/07/2013, members of the Columbia Fire Department were dispatched, at 14:05 pm, to a reported extrication accident in the 3000 block of Forum Boulevard. When crews arrived on the scene they found a black Honda Accord off the roadway in the ditch on the north bound side of the road and a red Nissan Altima blocking the south bound lane. 

 

The driver of the red Altima was not trapped in her vehicle but the driver of the black Honda was. Crew used hydraulic extrication tools to remove the vehicle from the driver of the vehicle. Once the extrication was complete both drivers were transported to University Hospital and Clinics with non-life threatening injuries
