Lakewood Drive at St. Charles Road to Close on Thursday, March 14 for 4 Weeks

COLUMBIA, MO (March 11, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning at 7:00 am on Thursday March 14, Aplex, Inc. of Linn MO. will temporarily close Lakewood Drive to construct Stage I of the Clark lane Phase II project.

This closure will result in a detour through Doulton Drive to Limoges Drive to Lake of the Woods Rd. . This stage of construction is expected to be complete, and Lakewood Drive reopened by mid April weather depending.

Motorists, cyclist and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
