New customer tools to track and report snow issues

COLUMBIA, MO (March 24, 2013) - Columbia Public Works has developed two new tools which we feel will be helpful to our customers to learn about current operations and to report issues electronically.

Customers can see quadrants of the city where plows are working, where plows have been, and what quadrants have been verified complete by supervisors. The map is updated at least every four hours. This map can be viewed at -

The second tool is an electronic form to report roadway snow issues. We hope to replace email notifications with this form as it allows Public Works supervisors and staff to better track and respond to issues. This form can be accessed by the following link -
