Two Separate Robberies Overnight

COLUMBIA, MO (March 28, 2013) - TWO SEPARATE ROBBERIES OVERNIGHT

  

On 3/27/13 at 7:15 P.M., officers were dispatched to a strong arm robbery at 120 S. Ninth Street. A white male with facial tattoos and a bandana assaulted the male victim, 18, and took the victims money while they were standing on the sidewalk. Officers located the suspect, Dean Wilmoth, approximately a block away with the exact amount of money in his pocket that was stolen from the victim. The victim positively identified Wilmoth as the suspect who robbed him. Wilmoth was transported to a local hospital where he spat on an officer. Wilmoth was arrested for robbery in the second degree with a to be set bond and third degree assault of a law enforcement officer with a bond of $500.00.

 On 3/28/13 at 2:28 A.M., officers were dispatched to 1013 West Boulevard, Fastlane 66, in reference to a robbery. The investigation revealed a black male entered the store and demanded money from the cashier.  There was no weapon displayed or any mention of a weapon during the robbery. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money heading southeast from the business. A K-9 assisted with the track for the suspect but was unsuccessful.

 

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

 

Black male, light complexion, mid to late 20’s, 6’0, 170 pounds last seen wearing a black hat, light colored jacket, blue jeans and a cloth covering his face.
