Roadway repairs scheduled on Broadway between Garth and 1st Street.

COLUMBIA, MO (May 21, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Friday, May 24 at 7:00 a.m. City of Columbia Public Works Street Maintenance crews will perform street repairs in the westbound lanes of Broadway between First Street and Garth Avenue.  The work consists of removing a section of pavement which has deteriorated and replacing it.

This work will result in temporary lane restrictions throughout the day.  The work should be completed and the road reopened Friday, May 24 at 3:30p.m., weather permitting.  

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
