Forest Avenue Lane Closure

COLUMBIA, MO (November 1, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that S.P.E. Inc. will begin excavation for the removal and replacement of a sanitary sewer lateral at 201 E. Forest Ave. beginning Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 7 a.m. This work will result in a lane closure on Forest Avenue at 201 E. Forest Ave. (between North Providence Road and Grand Avenue). The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by 6 p.m. that evening. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
