Love Where You Live - Columbia Launches Saturday

COLUMBIA, MO (November 14, 2013) - (Columbia, MO) - Looking for a great way to become more involved in your community? Interested in helping neighbors in need? Love Where You Live - Columbia is for you! A partnership amongst the City of Columbia’s Office of Neighborhood Services, Central Missouri Community Action and the City’s neighborhoods, Love Where You Live - Columbia seeks to bring local volunteers and neighborhood residents together to help neighbors in need of assistance, particularly with yard care and minor home repairs


Love Where You Live - Columbia kicks off this Saturday, Nov. 16th in the Ridgeway neighborhood! Registration will be at Oak Towers, 700 N. Garth Ave. from 8:30 - 9:00 am. Volunteers will have multiple tasks to choose from, including trash pickup, alley clearing and tire collection.
