Pavement Work will restrict one lane of East Broadway near Hitt on Friday, October 18

COLUMBIA, MO (October 17, 2013) - Beginning Friday, October 18, at 7:00 a.m., Cook Concrete, contractor for City of Columbia Water & Light Dept. will begin pavement repairs on E. Broadway between Fourth St. and Providence Rd. to replace street pavement damaged on an emergency water main repair.  This work will result in a lane closure along westbound E. Broadway at this location.  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Friday, October 18 by 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
