Shooting At 4 Business Loop 70 East

COLUMBIA, MO (October 17, 2013) -  SHOOTING AT 4 BUSINESS LOOP 70 EAST

 

On 10-17-13, at 5:31 P.M., officers were dispatched to 4 Business Loop 70 East, Break Time Convenience Store, in reference to shots being fired and a male subject being hit by gunfire.

 

Officers arrived at 5:32 P.M. and found the victim had already left the scene.  Officers went to local area hospitals and a male victim, 33 years old, came to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.

 

Officers did find evidence of a shooting in the parking lot of 4 Business Loop 70 East.  The Criminal Investigation Division was notified and responded to the scene and the hospital to conduct the investigation.

 

There is no solid suspect description to release at this time.

 

The victim is not being identified pending further initial investigation.
