Three Burglars Arrested Overnight

COLUMBIA, MO (October 28, 2013) - THREE BURGLARS ARRESTED OVERNIGHT

 

On 10/28/13 at 1:56 A.M., officers were dispatched to 815 Blue Ridge, Vonderahes Equipment and Repair in reference to a security alarm. A Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper was in the area and witnessed a black Ford Explorer occupied by a white female driver traveling west on Blue Ridge at Range Line Street at an unusual slow rate of speed.

 

Officers arrived at the security alarm to find two windows busted and several chain saws outside the business in the grass. The same black Ford Explorer was seen traveling south on Range Line Street and was occupied by three subjects. The black Ford Explorer was displaying stolen license plates. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper performed a traffic stop on that vehicle. The occupants inside the vehicle were David Woods (backseat passenger), Jason West (front seat passenger) and Robin Allen-Jezylo (driver). 

 

The occupants were detained and evidence was found inside the vehicle such as gloves, burglary tools and controlled substance which tested positive for methamphetamine. The video surveillance obtained from the business identifies Jason West and David Woods inside the business and removing items.

 

Jason West, 39, from Sturgeon, Missouri was arrested for burglary in the second degree with a bond of $4,500.00, possession of controlled substance felony with a bond of $4,500.00,  property damage in the first degree with a bond of $4,500.00, and felony stealing with a bond of $4,500.00.

 

 

Robin L. Allen-Jezylo, 52, from Boonville, Missouri was arrested for burglary in the second degree with a bond of $4,500.00, property damage in the first degree with a bond of $4,500.00 and felony stealing with a bond of $4,500.00.

 

David E. Woods, 44, from Columbia, Missouri was arrested for burglary in the second degree with a bond of $4,500.00, property damage in the first degree with a bond of $4,500.00 and felony stealing with a bond of $4,500.00.

 

Woods was connected to two other burglaries. The first burglary occurred on 8/15/13 at 1:05 A.M. at Plaza Tire located at 806 Smiley Lane. Woods was arrested on that case for burglary in the second degree with a bond of $4,500.00, property damage in the first degree with a bond of $4,500.00 and stealing felony with a bond of $4,500.00.  The second burglary occurred on 9/17/13 at 4:42 A.M. at Vonderahes Equipment and Repair located at 815 Blue Ridge Road. Woods was arrested on that case for burglary in the second degree with a bond of $4,500.00, property damage in the first degree with a bond of $4,500.00 and stealing felony with a bond of $4,500.00.
