East Walnut Street Closings on October 31 and November 6

COLUMBIA, MO (October 28, 2013) - Beginning on Thursday, October 31, at 8:30 a.m., Beth Nybeck, contractor for City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs will begin installation of decorative artwork at the Short Street Parking Garage.  The work will result in a road closure of E. Walnut St. between Hubbell Dr. and Orr St. on Thursday, October 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., weather permitting, and on Wednesday, November 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.  

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
