Armed Robbery America's est Value Inn

COLUMBIA, MO (September 2, 2013) - 
                        ARMED ROBBERY AMERICA’S BEST VALUE INN

On 9/2/13 at 9:36 P.M., officers were dispatched to 1718 N. Providence Road, in reference to an armed robbery in progress. The investigation revealed a black male armed with a gun entered the hotel and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot heading southbound from the business. There was no one injured during the robbery. A K-9 attempted to track the suspect but was unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
A black male, approximately 5’8”, a t-shirt over his face, last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt, shorts and 
tennis shoes. The suspect was armed with a gun.
