Arrest In A Robbery On Club Court

COLUMBIA, MO (September 3, 2013) - ARREST IN A ROBBERY ON CLUB COURT

 

 On 9/2/13 at 4:20 P.M., officers were dispatched to Club Court in reference to a robbery in progress.  The investigation revealed the male victim, 63, saw a white male suspect in the backyard looking through the windows of his residence then saw the male go to the front yard. The victim opened the door and the white male forced his way into the residence. The white male suspect had a knife, threatened the victim and demanded the male victim’s car keys to a white Ford pickup truck. The suspect sped away from the area in the victim’s truck.  The victim was not injured. An officer in the area observed the victim’s truck traveling northbound on Route B.

 

A Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper was in the area and pursued the stolen vehicle. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper took Dustin James Maupin, 32, into custody at 4:39 P.M. at an address off of Route OO.  Maupin was arrested for armed criminal action with a to be set bond, burglary in the first degree with a to be set bond, robbery in the first degree with a to be set bond and felony stealing with a bond of $4,500.00.  Maupin was transported and released to Boone County Jail.
