Weapons Violation Arrest On East Broadway

COLUMBIA, MO (September 8, 2013) - WEAPONS VIOLATION ARREST ON EAST BROADWAY

 

On 9/8/13 at 1:12 A.M., officers were conducting foot patrol near Roxy’s Bar at 1025 East Broadway. Officers were approached by a witness that Daniel Cohen was leaving the Bar, and he had a firearm in his possession. Cohen saw the officers approaching him, and he took off running. Cohen attempted to throw a handgun under a vehicle when he took off running. After a short foot pursuit, officers took Daniel Cohen, 26, into custody and recovered the handgun. Cohen was arrested for resisting or interfering with an arrest with a bond of $4,500.00, Tampering with physical evidence with a bond of $4,500.00,, unlawful use of a weapon with a bond of $4,500.00 and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of a traffic violation with a bond of $475.00.
