Robbery Suspect Arrested

COLUMBIA, MO (September 18, 2013) - ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

 

On 9/17/13 at 1:57 P.M., officers were dispatched to a robbery in progress at the intersection of Green Meadows and Crescent Green Drive.  The investigation revealed a male victim, 26, was picked up at his residence by Michael A. Green to go to the movie.  During the drive, the suspect Michael Allen Green stopped the car, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his money.  The victim gave an undisclosed amount of money to Green and got out of the car.  Green drove off in an older model grey 4 door vehicle.  Officers sent out information to surrounding law enforcement agencies to try and located Michael A. Green.  Green was located by the Cole County Sheriff’s Department and transported to the Columbia Police Department. Green was arrested at 4:43 P.M. for Robbery in the first degree with a to be set bond, transferred and released to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
