Household Hazardous Waste Facility opens for the season on Saturday, April 7 from 8 am to noon

COLUMBIA, MO (April 3, 2014) - On Saturday, April 7 the Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHW) will open for the season. The HHW facility is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from April to November. Hours are from 8:00 am to noon. The HHW is located at 1313 Lakeview (one block west of the Municipal Power Plant just off Business Loop 70 East).

Customers bringing items to the HHW are asked to review the list of products which can be accepted, how to package products for transport, and other information concerning household hazardous waste at GoColumbiaMo.com. Type "HHW" into the search box and follow the links. 

Customers are also reminded that the first several collection events of the year are very busy and we ask that you please be patient and allow for extra time at the drop off location.
