Multiple long term road and sidewalk closures beginning Wednesday, April 9

COLUMBIA, MO (April 8, 2014) - Beginning Wednesday, April 9 at 7:00 a.m., Collegiate Housing Partners will begin construction of multi-tenant apartment building  at 410 Conley Ave. This work will result in the closure of a portion of the street and sidewalk on the south side of Conley Avenue, a portion of street and sidewalk on the east side of Fourth Street , and a portion of street and sidewalk Fifth Street.  The work should be completed and the street fully reopened by Friday, July 31, by 7:00 a.m.

Beginning Thursday, April 10, at 8:00 a.m., Trittenbach Construction will continue construction of the building at 1101 E Walnut Street. This work will result in a road closure of Orr Street on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for ten weeks between Walnut Street and Ash St.  The work should be completed and the street fully reopened by Thursday, June 12th, by 5:00 p.m.

Beginning Wednesday, April 9th, at 8:00 a.m., Karrenbrock Construction will begin excavation of Ponderosa Street to construct a roundabout at the new Nocona Parkway and at the future entrance to A. Perry Phillips Regional Park.  This work will result in a road closure of Ponderosa Street approximately 2200' northwest of the intersection of Discovery Parkway and Ponderosa Street and approximately 2000' southeast of the intersection of E Nifong Boulevard and Ponderosa Street.  The work should be completed and the street fully reopened by Friday, July 11th, by 5:00 p.m.

Motorized an non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
