UPDATE - Third Ave Lane Restrictions - Thursday, April 24

COLUMBIA, MO (April 24, 2014) - Due to forecast of potential heavy rains late this morning and this afternoon, the contractor has moved this project to Friday, April 25 during the same hours. 

Lane closure - Beginning Thursday, April 24 at 7:00 a.m.,  NW Industries will begin excavation of Third Avenue to remove and replace a sanitary sewer lateral at 14 Third Avenue.  This work will result in a lane closure of Third Avenue between Garth Avenue and Grand Avenue.  The work should be completed and the street fully reopened by Thursday, April 24 by 5:00 p.m.

Motorists and non-motorized users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
