Public Input Meeting Set for Downtown Optimist Park Improvements

COLUMBIA, MO (August 1, 2014) - Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting a drop-in public meeting for improvements to the Downtown Optimist Park, located at 100 E Forest Ave.

                                  

The meeting will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on August 16 at the Downtown Optimist Club, 1201 Grand Ave. The proposed plans will be on display. Park staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

 

Proposed improvements include replacement of the shelter, playground equipment and ADA improvements.
