Road Closure - West Briarwood at Ivy Lane - August 11 - 15

COLUMBIA, MO (August 8, 2014) - Beginning Monday, August 11, weather permitting, Columbia Public Works Storm Water Utility Division will begin replacement of a failed storm water drainage pipe on West Briarwood Lane. This work will result in the closure of West Briarwood Lane south of the intersection with Ivy Way.  Through traffic will be prohibited south of Ivy Way.  Vehicles will not have access from West Briarwood to Ivy Way from the south.  Vehicular access from the north to Ivy Way will be maintained.  This work is scheduled to be completed and the road opened to traffic by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15.

Motorist and non-motorized transportation users should use caution in the work zone and find alternative routes when possible.
