COMO Connect - Ridership numbers for August 4 - 16

COLUMBIA, MO (August 20, 2014) - Numerous media outlets have asked for ridership numbers for COMO Connect since it began service on August 4.

The first week of service saw August 4-9, Â 11,276 riders, which represented an increase of 42% over the same time period as last year. 

The second week of service, August 11-16, saw 11,609 riders, which represented an increase of 34% over the same time last year. 

It should be noted that during this month of August, COMO Connect is free to all riders. While we are pleased that the ridership numbers are strong, we have not collected enough ridership data at this point to draw conclusions or trending data towards future ridership.
