Mayor McDavid, Columbia Chamber of Commerce to kick off Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement Award Program
COLUMBIA, MO (August 15, 2014) - The City of Columbia, the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, REDI and local businesses and organizations will come together at Lucky’s Market on Aug. 20 to kick off the application period for the Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement (MCPA) Award Program.
“We established the MCPA award program to recognize excellence in sustainable practices demonstrated by local businesses and organizations and promote a culture of environmental responsibility,” said Sustainability Manager Barbara Buffaloe. “We hope that any business interested in applying for the award will attend our kickoff event on the 20th and learn more.”
