Monthly Outdoor Siren Test on Wednesday 

COLUMBIA, MO (December 1, 2014) - The monthly test of Boone County’s outdoor warning sirens will take place on Wednesday, December 3, weather permitting.  The sirens are activated at Noon by Public Safety Joint Communications, as part of the test conducted by the Boone County Office of Emergency Management.

The Office of Emergency Management tests its outdoor warning sirens on the first Wednesday of each month as they are used as a way to warn citizens in reference to all types of hazards.  

In the event of threatening weather conditions, the test is cancelled.
