City offices closed for New Year’s holiday	

COLUMBIA, MO (December 26, 2014) - City offices will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s. Residential refuse and recycling collection will not be made Thursday and will be delayed one day the rest of the week. Questions concerning holiday refuse collection should be directed to the Public Works Solid Waste Division at 874-6291.

COMO Connect, Columbia's public transit system, will not operate Jan. 1. Buses will run on the regular schedule New Year's Eve. The sanitary landfill will be closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced Jan. 1. Though administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed Jan. 1, all other emergency services will be available.
