POSTPONED - Road Closure - North 8th Street - December 29 through December 31

COLUMBIA, MO (December 29, 2014) - This work has been postponed. We will issue a press release when the work is rescheduled. 



North 8th St. between Wilkes Blvd to Hickman Avenue will be closed to traffic during daylight hours beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday December 29 through Wednesday, December 31 at 4:00 p.m. 

The roadway will be closed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. The roadway will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each day the work occurs. The work is scheduled to be completed and the roadway reopen, weather permitting, by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday December 31. 

Twehouse Excavating is completing sanitary sewer repair work for Public Works.

Motorist and non-motorized transportation users are urged to use caution in the work zone at all hours while the work is being completed and to find alternate routes at the times the road is closed.
