Road Closures - Week of Janaury 5, 2015

COLUMBIA, MO (December 31, 2014) - Beginning Monday, January 5 at 7:00 a.m., Columbia Public Works – Street Division, will begin repairs to pavement and the roadbed on East Walnut St between Melbourne St and Ripley St. This work will result in a closure of both traffic lanes. The work is scheduled to be completed by January 9 at 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. 

Beginning Monday, January 5 at 7:00 a.m., Columbia Public Works – Sewer Division, will begin replacing a sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole on High St between Wilson Ave and University Ave. This work will result in a closure of both traffic lanes. Access to the High Street Apartment driveway and parking areas will be maintained during the work. The work is scheduled to be completed by January 9 at 5:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when around the work zone and use an alternate route.
