Public Health and Human Services Closed Tomorrow

COLUMBIA, MO (February 3, 2014) - Public Health and Human Services Closed Tomorrow

COLUMBIA, MO - Due to the impending winter storm, City of Columbia offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 4th. This includes the Department of Public Health and Human Services at 1005 West Worley. The Tuesday night STD clinic and Tuesday WIC appointments are canceled. The next STD clinic will be held Tuesday, February 11th from 5 to 7 p.m, and the WIC clinic is currently rescheduling appointments. To reschedule a WIC appointment, please call 573-874-7384.

As the temperatures begin to drop and the snow accumulates, the need for shelter from the elements may increase. Due to the ever changing nature of winter storm systems,  citizens are advised to contact warming centers and official shelters in advance to ensure that facilities are open and operational. Department leadership will make a determination regarding Wednesday's hours of operation, which may change based on weather and road conditions.
