Columbia Regional Airport running smoothly despite snowfall

COLUMBIA, MO (February 4, 2014) - If customers want to escape the winter weather falling down on us today, they won't have any problems using Columbia Regional Airport to escape the snow.

Columbia Regional Airport reports that flights are running smoothly despite the heavy snowfall entering the area today. Maintenance crews are on-site and having no problem keeping runways clear and safe for customers. The snow is not anticipated to cause any problems or delays with incoming or outgoing flights. This morning's flight to Dallas departed on time thanks to the maintenance crew's hard work, and crews will remain overnight to maintain clear runways.

Customers can always check their flight status with their carrier or at www.FlyMidMo.com.
