Refuse and Recycling Collection Schedule for rest of the week

COLUMBIA, MO (February 4, 2014) - RECYCLING - residential curbside collection of recyclables is cancelled the rest of the week. Please hold your recyclables until your collection day next week or take them to the drop-offs once you can safely do so.  
GARBAGE - Tuesday and Wednesday residential routes will be delayed until Thursday and we anticipate collecting the rest of the week one day delayed. If we don't make it through all of Wednesday's routes by the end of the day Thursday, we will resume first thing Fridaymorning before moving on to Thursday's routes.
 
LANDFILL - The landfill plans to be open Wednesday from 10 a.m.-4p.m
 
When collection service resumes, customers are asked to place their trash in a visible and easily accessible area free of snow and ice if possible, and away from areas that could have snow dumped on it from road plows.
