Roadway and Sidewalk Closure on 5th Street between Stewart and Locust

COLUMBIA, MO (February 11, 2014) - Beginning Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. HWP Rigging of St. Louis, contractor for the University of Missouri, will begin work removing a turbine motor. This work will result in a road and sidewalk closure of Fifth Street between Stewart and Locust.  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Thursday February 13 at 12:00 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
