The City of Columbia Announces Special Tree Debris Pickup

COLUMBIA, MO (July 18, 2014) - Columbia Public Works - Street Division, will collect post storm tree debris from over 400 residents in Columbia on Saturday, July 19. Should all materials not be collected on Saturday, crews will return on Sunday, July 19.

A map of the collections points is attached to this release.

Residents who were not able to schedule a pickup still have disposal options.


*Tree debris may be taken to any of the tree mulch sites; Capen Park, Parkside Drive, Columbia Landfill.

*Tree debris may be cut to lengths of no longer than four feet, then bundled with string or twine in bundles no more than 2 feet in diameter weighing 50 pounds or less. There is no limit on the number of bundles. Those bundles may then be placed curbside on your normal refuse and recycling day. 


Columbia Public Works ask motorist to please use caution this weekend as our crews will be in numerous roadways with equipment and personnel.
