City of Columbia Hosts Storms and Tree Recovery Seminar

COLUMBIA, MO (July 22, 2014) - The City of Columbia Community Development and Public Works Departments, in cooperation with the Missouri Community Forestry Council, is presenting a tree recovery program for citizens affected by the recent severe thunderstorms or with trees in need of possible maintenance. The class will take place on Thursday, August 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC), 1701 W. Ash St. Topics to be covered include:

 


*Chainsaw Safety



*Pruning and Hazardous Tree Removal



*Tree Selection and Planting
